Committees
Our two committees are where the work gets done. Members help plan and run initiatives — not just attend them. Join a committee to build skills, make connections, and shape what NAYGN at UF looks like.
Professional Development

Speaker Series
Speakers from different areas of nuclear and adjacent fields.
LinkedIn & Resume Workshop
Hands-on sessions to sharpen your professional profile and make your resume stand out to employers.
Internship Bank

Webinar Watch Parties
Group viewings of NAYGN International webinars — watch together, discuss, and connect with the broader network.
Executive Board Elections
Officer candidates come from active committee members — a direct path from participation to chapter leadership.
Public Information
Outreach and advocacy — getting nuclear in front of the public and government.
Tabling
Visibility and recruitment on campus — represent NAYGN at UF to students who may never have heard of nuclear engineering.
Nuclear Science Week
Annual outreach event with activities designed for multiple age groups to build excitement around nuclear science.
Postcard Push
Virtual advocacy day coordinated with NAYGN International's Government Outreach program — your voice to policymakers.
Hill Day Mock
A practice run ahead of the real Hill Day — prep your talking points, learn the process, and build confidence.

Students and faculty meet and advocate for nuclear energy and research funding.
Earth Week
